Why do we need templates? Because they saves our time in re-creation of repeatable processes, guiding users on filling the most needed information per Jira issue and helps to structure bug reporting to identify steps to reproduce.

A common story template helps the team to focus on the purpose of the story and the value it will deliver for customers. It may also use the Given/When/Then format to specify high-level acceptance criteria.
